Its proximity to the city center, the beach is only 1.5 kilometers away, makes it one of the most popular beaches in the resort. Especially, families with children appreciate this gently sloping sandy beach and the small playgrounds with slides and swings. But also concrete areas and small bays have been created here as bathing spots. Behind the beach is a wonderful fragrant pine forest, which provides cool shade on hot summer days.
Tip: Many good hotels and apartments for a beach vacation in Umag, such as the popular Hotel Sol Sipar, have also settled near Punta Beach.
Zambratija Sandy Beach
The Zambratija beach is a real insider tip for a quiet beach holiday in Umag! This small bay is a fine sandy beach where it is still really cozy and, thus, it offers breathtaking bathing pleasure. The sea is crystal clear and falls very flat, so you can wade through the water. Just behind the beach is a lovely beach bar that pampers its guests with cool drinks, tasty snacks and a fantastic sea view. Unfortunately, there are only a few parking spaces on site, so you should be there early enough.
Tip: The best way to spend your vacation is in one of the privately owned apartments. Great are the accommodations of the Sunny House not far from the beach and sea.
Laguna Stella Maris
A top beach in Umag is the beautiful Laguna Stella Maris, a picturesque bathing bay just 3 kilometers from the city center. This wonderful pebble beach is located inside the Stella Maris Resort, although non-hotel guests can also use this beach for free. Protected by the lagoon, the sea is usually calm and very suitable to swim in. You can get to Stella Maris Laguna either by car, by tourist train or by bike along the beautiful promenade.
Tip: Here on the Laguna Stella Maris beach, in the immediate vicinity, is the ATP stadium “Goran Ivanisevic“, where exciting tennis tournaments take place every year in June.
Aurora Beach

Beach Polynesia

Beach Svjetionik
A truly popular beach near Umag is Svjetionik Beach.
