General Information about Coral Cove Beach

Coral Cove Beach, sometimes called Coral Cove Bay, is located on the east coast of Koh Samui Island, halfway between the large Chaweng Beach and Lamai Beach. Compared to the large main beaches of the island, the bay, which is only about 200 meters long, is still a quiet place on the island. Its hidden location makes it ideal for travelers who want to get away from the hustle and bustle and focus on relaxation. Beautiful and truly unique to Coral Cove Beach are the rock formations to the left and right of the beach that remind many visitors of the Seychelles. The polished granite rocks create a picture postcard setting, and the turquoise sea invites you to swim and snorkel. The tropical palms and green trees directly behind the beach are beautiful as well, providing welcome shade on hot days.

A special feature of Coral Cove Beach, as the name suggests, are the coral reefs just off the coast, which form a true underwater paradise. The crystal clear water and the many colorful fish make Coral Cove Beach one of the best beaches for snorkeling on Koh Samui. You can also go kayaking or stand-up paddling in this area. How to get to Coral Cove Beach

To get to the island of Koh Samui, you have several suitable options by air or ferry. Once you arrive at the island, you can get to Coral Cove Beach in about 9 kilometers from the airport. From the ferry port “Nathon Pier” the beach can be reached in about 25 kilometers. To get there, you can take a taxi. Some tourists also rent a car or a scooter and drive to Coral Cove Beach on their own. But be careful, the beach is hidden between Chaweng and Lamai. Only an open gate and a small sign with “Coral Cove Resort” show the way down to the sea.
