General Information about Seget Vranjica

The village with 1,000 inhabitants, Seget Vranjica is located in Dalmatia, about 5 kilometers from Trogir and 35 kilometers from the famous port city Split. Surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation, ancient olive groves and vineyards, this former fishing village is a small-hidden pearl of the Adriatic. One part of the pretty resort is situated on a hilly peninsula, with the church of Hravtskih mucenika perched on its tip. The other part is situated in the picturesque Sasina Bay, where many of the most beautiful beaches of Seget Vranjica are located.

Very romantic is also the small harbor and the promenade decorated with palm trees, which will make you go on long walks. Right in the center, you will find some really cozy cafés and good restaurants serving fresh fish and Dalmatian grilled specialties. If you want to go out in the evening, it is best to go to the nearby town of Trogir and enjoy a lively nightlife with countless hip bars and restaurants.

Most of them are fine, light pebble beaches, but there are also stone beaches that score with excellent sea quality and turquoise water colors. Bučevica Beach

Plaza Bucevica is the most beautiful beach in Seget Vranjica for many travelers. This picturesque, fine pebble beach is located at the lowest end of the resort and can be reached via a short walk along the seafront. Once arrived, you will experience a wonderfully pretty dream bay with a light pebble beach and beautiful turquoise blue water colors. Really great is the sea swing, which gives this beach a touch of Caribbean feeling. It has already become a popular spot for people to take spectacular photos. Just behind the beach is also the cozy Moody Beach Bar, where you can enjoy a delicious coffee and soak up the fabulous vacation atmosphere.

Tip: Not far from Bucevica Beach is a small vacation settlement. Fabulous is the Villa Mediterana directly on the sea, where you will find beautiful apartments with a magnificent view.

The dream beach Plaza Vranjica is the main beach of the resort. This approximately 300 meter long stretch of coastline has been divided into several small bathing bays and is particularly impressive because of its idyllic ambience. The sea slopes relatively shallowly at this beach, which is especially appreciated by families with children, as well as non-swimmers and older people. While bathing, you can enjoy the crystal clear turquoise sea and also the view of the charming white coastal town is phenomenal. The pretty shady trees directly on the beach give Plaza Vranjica a unique Mediterranean touch.

Tip: Directly behind the promenade you will find really fantastic apartments such as the Apartment Rozana, a beautiful accommodation with a fabulous view of the sea.

Beach Sasina Vala

Directly below the harbor is the small bathing bay Sasina Vala. This beautiful bathing place is mostly used by guests of the apartments opposite and is, therefore, a relatively quiet place to sunbathe and swim, even in the high season. Especially beautiful here are the many pine trees and the slender cypresses along the coast, which provide a wonderful Mediterranean flair. In addition, the sea shines in the most amazing blue water colors and truly invites for swimming and snorkeling. A popular meeting place is the small beach bar Sasina Vala, which opens in the high season and provides guests with cool drinks.

Tip: Just a few minutes’ walk away is Apartmani Šerić, a recommended apartment house where the hospitality of the owners and beautiful views will delight you.

Beach Camping Belvedere

In the very south of Vranjica is the beautiful Belvedere beach. This enchanting stretch of coast is located in the “Belvedere Holiday Resort” of the same name and is especially popular with campers. On a length of about 700 meters, you can expect different lovely bathing possibilities. From clean stone beaches and concrete beaches to beautiful pebble bays and natural coves, you will have a great choice. The sea is particularly clear, so you can explore an interesting underwater world while snorkeling. Also fabulous are the resort’s cozy bars and restaurants, which provide cool drinks and snacks while taking in the gorgeous views.
